Since summer 2016, Arnaud Faye is the new Chef at Château de la Chèvre d’Or. Arnaud took over the kitchens in this legendary establishment on the French Riviera, and notably, the famous 2-star gastronomic restaurant, « la Chèvre d’Or ».
Arnaud Faye started his career in 1999. The young chef worked his way up through famous 3-star Michelin establishments. In 2007, at just 29, Arnaud Faye became the Head Chef at the Espadon restaurant in the famous Parisian hotel «Le Ritz». Two years later, the restaurant got its second Michelin star. At the beginning of 2011, Arnaud joined Thierry Marx at the Mandarin Oriental in Paris, to open a new establishment, which got 2 Michelin stars, less than a year after opening.
As a new challenge for 2012, the chef took over the kitchens of the hotel Auberge du Jeu de Paume, of the Relais et Châteaux group, in the heart of the Domaine de Chantilly. The gastronomic restaurant of the hotel was rewarded with a first Michelin star in March 2013 and a second star the following year.
Hotel closed for winter season. Reopening 2018 new season : the 7th of March 2018.
